Tallahassee Criminal Defense Attorney Joe Bodiford's Background

Mr. Bodiford earned his B.A. from Florida State University. He then attended Stetson University College of Law where he obtained his law degree. He is Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education and is also a former assistant state attorney for Hillsborough and Pasco counties. As a former prosecutor, he has valuable insight for his criminal defense practice.  

Because of his vast knowledge of the law and his hands-on experience as a defense attorney, Mr. Bodiford also educates law students at Stetson University College of Law as an adjunct professor and a  faculty member at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyer's “White Collar Criminal Defense College.” In addition to teaching law classes, he is also the author of the chapter “White-Collar Crimes” in the book Florida Bar's Business Litigation in Florida.  His professional memberships include:
